Where there is communication, there is conflict. Conflict management is the first step taken to resolve conflicts arising from opposing ideas. People's belief that their ideas are absolutely correct and the need to prove this often causes problems in the business world. Conflict management is the key to getting out of these processes in an advantageous way.

There are conflict types that we collect under 4 headings: conflict experienced by individuals, conflicts between individuals, conflicts between groups and between groups, conflicts between organizations. Many different methods have been developed to resolve these conflict types. There are three effective methods that can be used to solve the problems caused by conflicts. These are negotiation, mediation and voting methods. Conflict, when properly managed, is an important part of development processes rather than a problem.
